The Aysar Method

“Read! In the name of your Lord who created – Created the human from something which clings. Read! And your Lord is Most Bountiful – He who taught (the use of) the Pen, Taught the human that which he knew not.” (96:1-5)

Learning to read the Quran is perhaps among the most important endeavour for every Muslim. It is therefore not surprising that there are numerous methods available today.

The Aysar Method employs a systematic and comprehensive approach; making the learning of the Quran easier, faster and more enjoyable for your kids, insha-Allah.

 

Part 1

Learning Objective
At the end of Part 1, students should be able to identify all the Arabic letters and their six basic vowels.

Methodology

This part covers the Arabic letters and their six basic vowels. These are fundamental building blocks for Quranic words.
Therefore Part 1 is very important. There are 23 lessons and 2066 letters.
Students should practice as much as possible till they have mastered all the Arabic letters and their vowels.

Part 2

Learning Objective
At the end of Part 2, students should be able to read all the words in the Quran fluently and without error.

Methodology

This part describes:
1. How letters become words.
2. All forms of Quranic words.
3. The different sounds made when two letters combine to form a word.
4. The different styles of writing those words.
There are 24 lessons and 2035 example of words for practice. 1951 of them are take from the Quran.
Hence, students should be able to read the Quranic words with confidence at the end of Part 2 using the examples provided in our book.

Part 3

Learning Objective
At the end of Part 3, students should be able to read all the words in the Quranic sentences (ayat) and ready to recite the Quran.

Methodology

This part covers the different sounds produced when words are joint to form phrases and the different sounds produced when there is a stop (waqaf) in
recitation.
There are 33 lessons and 870 Qur’anic phrases to practise.
Students who practise all of them will be prepared to read all the different ways phrases are recited in the Qur’an.
However, it should be noted that some of the lessons in Part 3 are dedicated for selected phrases and recitations that occur rarely in the Qur’an.
Hence, Part 3 serves as reference for students who begin to recite the Qur’an.
